The sweetness of good old times. The lingering essence of all that’s pristine and a free spirit that’s not worried about what the future might hold. This is the smell of beautiful yesterdays. An image etched in memory forever.
The scent opens with a candied whiff of magnolia, honeysuckle and blackcurrant backed up with a heap of heliotrope. The richness of the mixture reminds you of potpourri. It must be the almondy vanilla and rose accord. The heart of the scent is a choir of saffron and osmanthus jazzed up by a pleasant touch of oud from Assam, India which is coupled with a good measure of musk.
The scent moves into a gentle finale like a veil on your skin that stays for a good while with a hint of musky vetiver, patchouli, and almond, thanks to heliotrope that evokes such a beautiful accord. All in all, Where We Used to Live is and ode to innocence and memories that we cling to.
