Husen Baba was raised in Mumbai with a modest background, born to an Indian mother of Afghan and Portuguese heritage and an Indian father from a remote village near Goa. His life took a turn when he ventured into Dubai and the field of advertising, igniting within him a deep passion for luxury, art, fashion, culture, and travel.
His drive for excellence led him to conceive innovative ideas, earning him numerous prestigious international advertising accolades. His career soared as he traveled to cosmopolitan cities like New York, London, Tokyo, Paris, Brussels, Zurich, Milan, and Prague, where he absorbed the essence of sophistication and learned the irreplaceable value of elegance.
Throughout this period of self-discovery, his fascination with perfumery blossomed. He delved into its intricacies, seeking inspiration from industry pioneers like Roja Dove, Ben Gorham, Victor Wong, and Meo Fusciuni, among others. A serendipitous encounter with Frederick Malle led him to Grasse, France, where he immersed himself in the art of perfume-making to deepen his expertise.
